High School Registration for New to CPS Families

Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS) is our newly-renovated and comprehensive high school. Educating approximately 1,800 students each year, CRLS is divided into four Learning Communities (LC) designed to promote high levels of learning and achievement for all students. Students are assigned to the Learning Communities in a process that balances special education status, gender, zip code, and bilingual status

How to Register
Students newly entering or re-entering CRLS (for instance, students entering from a private or charter school) must meet all of the general requirements for registration through the Student Registration Center, with some additional required forms. Visit our Forms Page to download the forms or email [email protected] to request the registration forms.

Current CPS 8th Graders
Currently active 8th grade students in the Cambridge Street Upper School, Putnam Avenue Upper School, Rindge Avenue Upper School, Vassal Lane Upper School, or the Amigos School will be automatically enrolled into CRLS for grade 9. These students do not need to register for CRLS.

Foreign Exchange Registration
CRLS accepts foreign exchange students who wish to attend for up to 1 full school year under the Non-Immigrant Student Status with an I-20. For more information on how to apply, please visit the Foreign Exchange Application page

For further information regarding any of the above registration process, please contact Ilda Zheku at the Student Registration Center via email or phone (617.349.6895).
