
NURIEL VERA-DEGRAFF is a senior at the Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, where he is deeply involved in his school community in a variety of ways. He leads the CRLS Club 4 and Model United Nations clubs, and is currently the captain of the indoor track long distance team. Having been a part of student government since his freshman year, Nuriel served as a student representative to the CRLS School Council as a sophomore and was elected to be a School Committee student member in June 2020. In his first term on the School Committee, Nuriel passed motions addressing menstrual equity, school-to-student communication, and sexual harassment and assault at CRLS. Now in his second term, he continues to represent CPS students and is working on strengthening curriculum requirements for health and wellness classes throughout the school system.
