The HR staff will work with you to determine your starting salary, help you enroll in benefits programs you are eligible for, and complete beginning employment documents. You will be invited to attend one of the new employee orientation session conducted in the spring, summer and early fall so that you can helpful helpful information about working in CPS. The majority of staff salaries are guided by union contract provisions and education and experience levels. Teachers new to the district will be asked to provide verification of their past teaching experience, salary, and to provide official transcripts.
