Maintaining and ensuring you have access to your information is important to CPS. To prevent data loss, CPS backs up all CPS G-Suite information using Datto’s Backupify. With this solution, all CPS G-Suite users can retrieve their files, calendars, contacts,
or emails.
To access Backupify, click on the Google Apps Waffle, scroll to the bottom, click More, and then select Backupify Google Apps Backup. You will be required to login with your CPS G-Suite account. Do not try to login using Backupify credentials, instead click on Login with Google.
Once you are logged in, please follow these steps to successfully restore your information:
- Select the tab of the G-Suite app you want
to restore.

To locate the items you want to restore, you
can use the search function. After locating
the item, check off each document or item
you want to restore.
- Once you have chosen the items you want to restore, click the Restore link in the upper right-hand corner. This will provide you with
a summary of the number of items you have selected, you can change it to All items as well.
- When you are ready to restore, click the
Restore button.
The restore process may take up to 24 hours,
depending on the number of restore items you
selected, so please be patient.
When the process is complete, you will notice a new folder or label in your G-Suite account app that will start with Backupify Restore, this will be all the items that you selected to restore.
