Varsity Head Coach Jesse Nocon of the CRLS Rugby program has been named MIAA Rugby Coach of the Year!
This is a very well deserved honor, as Coach Nocon has worked hard to create one of the top Division 2 Rugby programs in the state of Massachusetts.
Jesse has been with CRLS since 2017 and has grown participation numbers and led the program to two State Finals in the last three years (2019 & 2021; no season in 2020). Jesse and Assistant Coach Dan Mason have worked tirelessly to recruit students from within the building to build up participation in the sport. Coach Nocon serves on the MIAA State Rugby Committee and played an integral role in getting Rugby started as a state sanctioned sport (Massachusetts is the only state in country which sanctions Rugby) and also played pivotal role in forming and maintaining the Commonwealth Rugby Conference.
Coach Nocon has exhibited a great passion in working with our Cambridge students and provides amazing support to all those who take part in the program!
Congratulations Jesse for this great honor!
